Sascha Egerer

With more than 20 years in TYPO3, Sascha is one of the platform's long-time companions. Having spent years in agency environments, he co-founded Flowd GmbH together with a partner eight years ago, out of a desire to specialize in high-quality, maintainable code. Today he helps lead the company, overseeing technical architecture, infrastructure, and security-critical enterprise projects, with a particular focus on building systems that are stable, secure, and built to last.
His commitment to quality extends well beyond his own projects into the open source community. Sascha maintains the PHPStan for TYPO3 package, helping developers catch errors early and write more reliable code, and has contributed extensively to the TYPO3 Core over the years. He has also filed numerous security reports in the TYPO3 ecosystem, reflecting a deep, hands-on dedication to clean code, open source, and security.
