How to Document in TYPO3

Get useful insights on how you can document your own TYPO3 extensions and contribute to the main TYPO3 documentation

The talk is divided into two parts. First, Sandra will talk about the main steps involved in creating your own extension documentation. She will cover the important steps: registering your extension in TER, generating the guides.xml file, and setting up the basics to kickstart writing your own documentation, while introducing the key concepts of local rendering and live rendering. She will then show you how to create a webhook and explain the approval process.

In the second part, Sandra will talk more generally about contributing to the main TYPO3 documentation, focusing on the ChangelogToDoc repository, highlighting the benefits for contributors and showing how easy it is to contribute.
